Last night was Ashley’s first basketball game—the first of the season; the first of her life.
By no small stretch she was the smallest one on the court. Though the contenders outsized the Warriors by about a foot per player, our girls brought down the house 42 to 2.
While David refereed the game, Cole cheered from the sidelines—pom poms and all. Ashley played her heart out proving she belongs among the small but mighty. And Cole . . .
Well lets just say he is presidential!

She is so adorable. This reminds me of Alicia's bball days only she was always the tallest on the team which made for some great rebounding. GO Ashley!
pom-poms?? So funny! Cole is my favorite comedian!
yeah, the mommy-privacy thing is just funny...I knew it would happen, I just wasn't prepared for my reaction, sometimes... I truly gtet SO frustrated sometimes, that I can't even pee without an audience! But on the other hand, I love that my kids want to be with me...and that makes it all worth it (After I calm down, of course!)
I am sure Ashley will rock the house...in whatever she wants to do.. I love that it's a family affair!
From one bball player to another...or to her mom what you lose in height you usually make up in speed!
Go Ashley!
Way to go, Ashley! Basketball is a great sport!
I can totally picture Cole with pop-poms, since Henry had some a few weeks ago. They've mysteriously disappeared recently, and I don't think they'll be seen again!
Okay, that is funny. I almost forgot Pres. Bush was once a cheerleader!
sounds like fun times!!! are we going to see any more music recitals?
