Ahhh . . . Dinnertime!

Nicholas and Ashley
Originally uploaded by Beth.
These last two weeks have been filled with the most glorious meals coming right to our door. Our good friend, Judy, was the chef last night. Incidentally, her resume is quite impressive. Not only has she owned her own catering business, she has owned her own bakery as well.

Just as we were sitting down to eat Judy’s delicious roast chicken with all the trimmings, our eleven year old darling asked . . .

“Doesn’t anyone ever make, like, fish sticks?”

Cracked me up! That's my kind of girl:) Can't wait to share this one with Lee (oops, Alicia, I guess you guys never really got to know her as Lee), I know she'll have a good laugh, too.

That's pretty funny! Henry got me today. I gave him his choice for lunch...any of his favorites...grilled cheese, macaroni, pb&j. What would he like? Only McDonalds. He was so disappointed!

That is so funny. I did't know fish sticks were even in the ball park so I'll have to stock up on them. SO glad to see that Ashley found her glasses again...she looks so good in them!

I LOVE FISH STICKS! Tell Ashley that next time I come we can make banana muffins and fish sticks...I am going to have to start running now to get ready for that! Also, I don't think you have to make sure your kids aren't in your office when you read my blog...I know that is a common sight in Texas...don't try to deny it!

Thanks so much for your comment Beth - that means a lot! We TM moms definitely have a special bond because we each understand how demanding life can get sometimes. It's good to know I'm not alone. So glad that Dave could stay home with you...Joel's not complaining at all - being stuck in the beautiful Rocky mountains, poor guy! :-)
