A million times a day God gives reminders my life is rich beyond the counting. If such moments are ignored because life is too busy or frazzled, I am the poorer for it. Life calls for reflection.

While Riding In The Van . . .
Cole: Mom, Jonathan used the “N” word!
Knowing Jonathan would never use the “N” word I asked,
“Cole, what’s the “N” word?
Cole: Stupid!
Hmmmm, how much am I paying in tuition again?

Your kids are hilarious. Alicia was just reminding me of a little song that Jay sang to you guys one time when you were out looking at some big houses. I'm sure you remember because it was too cute to forget.
I guess you never know what they might say. My kids usually said stuff in public and made me look like the awful mom, hehe. Timing is everything.
You know, that word is banned in our house too. Henry is our little monitor of the 'S-word' and always lets us know if someone says it (unfortunately, he says it like, "They just said STUPID!").
ha! I can't wait till Isabelle starts talking!...I guess it's not just so I have more blog fodder...more so she will stop whinning for things and start TELLING us what she needs! *sigh*
I am with ya...I asked Blake the other day what letter they were learning about in handwriting and he said the one with the straight line and the dot over it. Oh Lord, help us. :-)
Sorry I haven't called. Ethan has been throwing up since Monday, seems better today, and now I am feeling gross again. I need to catch a break! At least the girls are healthy!

I am not surprised that the song I posted resonated with you too, your heart for foster parenting has inspired me!
