Even though it has a bent toward getting lost in the mix, Cole had a delightful birthday—took chocolate sprinkled cupcakes for his class, had a pizza party with his cousins and was given the gift he as been asking for ALL YEAR: Buzz Lightyear (Thank you Amazon!) He also ended up with a Buzz Lightyear remote control car (so cool) and an amazing remote control car with lots of power, zip and turn-on-a-dime steering.It’s so hard for me to believe this little guy is 5! He came into the world so peacefully, was an amazingly easy baby, and has been the absolute joy of everyone in our family ever since.
Born for the stage, Cole immediately turns into performance mode if the spotlight is on. He can ham it up with a huge grin and amazingly send a room full of people into hysterics with very little effort. Tenderhearted, kind and full of spunk, Cole loves anything involving action . . . and yet enjoys curling up with a good book—especially if his big brother, Jonathan, will read it to him.
Happy 5 Years, Cole! We are so thankful we get to be your parents!

He's only 5? He comes across like a grown man--haha. He must be an old soul (whatever that means). Happy birthday little man.
He's such a little doll. I know Alicia cannot look at his picture without warm and endearing memories of a very precious little boy.

What a darling! We just love Cole and still have his birthday gift here. Maybe this week we can get around to hooking up for that!
He is getting so big! It's crazy to me sometimes to look back on their pictures from even a year ago.
I don't really understand facebook either. I'm trying to get Scrabble on it and can't figure out how to do it. Drives me nuts. Anything I have on my page, Matt did. Maybe he can give us an inservice -- we definitly need to get together!!!

Anyway I got a blogger account now and was trying to subscribe and I "flagged" your blog thinking that meant subscribe. I then realized it was somthing totally different. Sorry about that :) I am still learning this thing.
I wanted to email you more about everything, but we were so busy and wiped out from it all I wasnt online much. I thank you for your prayers, he is totally fine now- praise the LORD! I am actually pregnant with our second son and due mid Feb. You had a lot of great advice last time and I totally used them ;) I hope you are doing well and that cole had a good birthday! He is so cute!
