Me: (Interrupting Jonathan playing, when he is suppose to be cleaning his room) Jonathan, how is your room looking?
Jonathan (age 8): Atrocious, Mom . . . but I’m going to do that next.
Atrocious?! Isn’t that kind of a big word for such a little kid?

The scary part comes when they start using words you don't know. Jenna had a huge vocab at a very young age. She used to scare all of us. We would all sit and look at each other with wide eyes wondering how she could be so smart. She retains so much and it has been great for her school work. She definately does not get that from me. I can't live without Merrian-Webster, nor can I even remember which child is which :)
He takes after me :)
The family dentist couldn't believe it when my four year old kept throwing "actually" into her sentences.
I'm sure he's heard you use it, they are sponges don't you know!!
That is an amazing picture of Jonathon!
I love moments like that...
Such a smart boy!!
