Beth, I love your blog. I just wanted to say how much I miss your cheery face. It is lonely out here in the big city without wonderful friends like you. I hope you are having great fun and enjoying your sweet Nicholas. I LOVE that name. Hugs and kisses,
Brenda B in D.C.

First, I love that kid! Second, um...Cole looks so much like David in that picture...if you look past the coloring and the nose!

Kids are great! That story is hilarious. Love the picture too. We don't have any Chic-fil-a's around here.

We're still working on our painting project. I'm gonna email you... I'm stuck!!!

I love Chick-Fil-A ,too Cole!!! Especially the mini-breakfast rolls with chicken. Now I'm hungry.

That's precious! :o) Will you and your family be at the Bethany graduation in 2 weeks?! I'll be up since my sister is graduating--and I would love to see you guys!!

I helped with the night feedings for Reynaldo and I remember you and Dave both saying you couldn't get any more foster babies cause it was just too much being up all night again:) I didn't help at night with Cole, but I took Ash and J to school each morning for a while...then you guys blessed me with a wonderful trip to the Spa. I remember crying when I saw what the gift was at home cause I just felt so blessed to be a part of your guys' family!
With Love,
Lacy
P.S.Hopefully Beth can help with the nights some so you can get more rest:)

I love Chic-fil-A too. It's a healthy fast food restaurant. Did you know that? What a funny thing for a kid to say.

I read this one to my husband and he laughed out loud and all the way up the stairs. Too cute! Loved the picture!

Thanks Beth for Lily's info. I have a lot of blog ignorances.

Your comment on my site about the phrases was hilarious....I can definitely "hear" their accent. I am so sorry. :-)

Hi Beth -
I know for certain that you don't know me because we barely met while I was at the internship. I was in the January '97 class. Anyway, I had to chime in to this blog. This (Dave's side) actually brought tears to my eyes because this is identical to what my Dad always did with me growing up. I always thought he was silly, but looking back I see just how much those little moments made me feel loved. I just wanted you to know how much these father moments are to the heart of your children ... although I'm sure this is not information to you. :) God bless!

Beth - i love this post - I always reread your posts and this one ALWAYS makes me laugh genuinely all over again. I think Cole has the greatest smile I've ever seen on a kid. He looks exactly like the boy that always has frogs in his pocket.
