Cole has been doing a lot of reverting lately—I think he is a little nervous about the little guy soon to take his revered spot as “The Baby”. The other day I set up the bassinet—he wanted to get in a take a nap. I pulled the baby swing out of the attic—he wanted to take a ride. Then to top it off, he kept following me around the house, lifting up his arms, and saying:
“Uh, uh, uh.”
My reply each time was rather predictable and sadly quite heartless:
“Mommy can’t pick you up, Cole—I’m too pregnant.”
After several unsuccessful attempts he pulled out the zinger I finally gave in to:
“But Mom, you’re so comfy.”

What a sweetheart! Henry did a lot of those things when Jonah was coming too. Isn't it heart-breaking?

Ahhh. poor Cole... being pushed aside for the baby...at least he already has that family clown thing down... I think he will be able to hold his own with any baby.
Kids are smart, aren't they? Cole seems to know a new "baby" is about to come into the Hasz picture. Who can blame him, he wants Mom all to himself, there's nothing like nestling upto your mother. All of us have been there sometime or another.
Aw..poor Cole...but oh how he knows how to push the right buttons. He'll do fine!
I remember Alicia reverting back to the baby syndrome as well. It was a little tramatic at first. She had been my baby for over three years. Glad to report that the arrival of her little sister did not scar her for life and she survived pretty well...Cole will, too!
